Postpartum Care
How to bring ease, comfort, and strength into your postpartum journey.
congratulations mama!
You are about to give birth to a beautiful new life in this world!
This course is meant to prepare you for your baby’s arrival and create support around your postpartum journey. Although this, of course, is a time of celebration, it is also an adjustment period for your body.
All of your organ systems are focused on growing a life during pregnancy, so once you are no longer carrying your cub within you, your organs have to reevaluate their roles and recover from the birth.
Common postpartum symptoms include crying spells, mood swings or irritability, depression, low energy/fatigue, loss of appetite, trouble with digestion, insomnia, blood loss, brain fog, panic attacks, etc.
So in order to ensure you have a comfy transition into parenthood, this course will teach you how to prepare for your baby’s arrival, how to take care of yourself post-birth, and how to better understand your baby’s needs.

Functional Nutritionist, Doula & Midwife’s Daughter
I am not a mother, myself. However, I grew up constantly surrounded by mothers and their babies; attending births, witnessing ultrasounds in my living room, sitting in my mum’s office, and constantly asking her questions. I, then, went on to become a babysitter, followed by receiving my doula certification, both birth and postpartum, as well as served as a live-in nanny for a newborn for two years.
Although I haven’t given birth myself, I have developed such a strong passion and admiration for motherhood. It is one of my greatest joys in life to support mamas and their partners in their journey of creating new life, while also helping them find balance within their own health and wellness.
It would be my honor to serve as your guide as you explore motherhood and all of the beauty that comes with it!
